Random Thoughts: D&D was an activity strictly for the demented and sad when I was in high school. It's so mainstream now I can hardly believe it. Went to the unfortunately named Gamehole Con in WI last month. It knocks me out seeing so many young people enjoying a hobby that was demonized back in the day. Things always change, sometimes for the better.
I have decided that if I can't write anything good, I will at least write something. I'm not sure how long I'll give this. Maybe forever, or until death comes and frees me from the obligation. You never know, pursuing any endeavor, if it will end in success. The only certainty is how endeavors end if you don't try at all. And success, itself, is a very relative term, dependent on the values we attach to it.
